About Us
| Steelhead
Brewing Co. in Burlingame began brewing in January 1995 and opened its doors on
March 8, 1995, under the name of Burlingame Station Brewing Co. Burlingame's state-of-the
art 14-barrel brewery has a production capacity of 197 barrels a month or 2,366
barrels per year. The ales are brewed using a single-step infusion all-grain process.
The plush, open-ceiling restaurant seats 200 and has excellent food. Outside seating
is available year round, and there is a beautiful gothic billiard room graced
with six 9-foot pool tables in an adjoining room which is available for private
parties. |

The
Food: Chef Byron Garcia whips up all menu items
from scratch, offering an eclectic array of foods; from appetizers to burgers
to soups, salads, fish & chips, steak, and pastas. Our homemade wood-fired
bread and pizza crust contain spent grain from the brewing process. There are
dinner specials in the evening, as well as a good selection of seafood dishes.
And don't forget dessert, like our Brownie a-la-mode with caramel and chocolate
sauces, whipped cream, and walnuts. Banquet menus
are available. |

The
Beers: Head Brewer Emil Caluori offers five or more flagship
ales; Hefeweizen, Barracuda Blonde, Raging Rhino Red, Bombay Bomber India
Pale Ale, and a rotating stout or porter, plus several seasonal or specialty
beers. In addition to our regular brews on draft, Steelhead also offers two
cask-conditioned ales, served via a traditional English beer engine. |

Other Beverage
Choices: If you are not the beer-imbibing type, the brewers are proud
to offer two root beers: Steelhead Original Spicy Draft, which is spicy enough
to stand up to two scoops of vanilla and makes the best rootbeer float in town;
and our new bottled Honey Vanilla Root Beer, which is popular with the children
for its gentle root beer flavor. Steelhead also offers a full service bar, specializing
in signature cocktails, as well as premium
wines, a commercially made non-alcoholic beer, sparkling water, juices and
soda. Tours, Kegs,

only. Souvenir T-shirts, baseball hats, logo glassware and other merchandise are
